Hey Girls
What a fantastic night we had drumming at the RHYTHM HUT. Sharon kept us all in time playing the big Taiko while Lyn, Browyn & others played a clever tune on some cool sounding things that looked like saucepans. Rendra took us all to a great place where .... yes .. . rhythm & music could be heard.
For those who missed WOWGIRLS GO DRUMMING last Wednesday night there's an opportunity to catch up with us girls and learn drumming in a 6 week course with Rendra & Jody on Wednesday nights to do djembe and Tues & Thursday nights.......etc
For bookings and information contact Gabbie at the Rhythm Hut

Girls stay tuned for the Sun Weekly for a possible mention of WOWGIRLS Wave Of Wisdom. And also Colette will be writing a story for the Express.

SURF SAFARI:
What a great adventure we had at Hawks Nest. It was great fun and meant a lot to me and I think to us all to go away with fantastic women who are so much into living.
The beach sarfari was fun ... getting bogged in the sand and being the 'leyland girls'. Regi NO FEAR WOW sister gave us a great display in woolly surf conditions at HOLE IN THE WALL and all the girls survived tough conditions at BOOMERANG. The surf movies we're great, the food was awesome and sorry Colette we didn't get round to playing the drums - keen for next time.
Congratulation to all who made the treck to Mt Yakabar - a monster climb to the top with great views of Hawks Nest and across to Nelsons Bay. I think we all survived well.
For those who missed it... we missed you. Sorry to Julie who got sick just days before going.
NEXT SURF SAFARI! We've been invited to joing WOMEN IN THE WAVES on a surf camp to Trechery sometime soon.
Also Peter & Becky Brown have offered their place (room for 20x) at Point Plumer - Crescent Head for a trip sometime

"Happy to help where I can. My work and our business takes up such a huge
chunk of my life, however, I have to tell you, that having the WOWGIRLS
network and activities to look forward to participating in, when I am able
to, is such an incredibly enjoyable part of life. Keep up the good work, it is most definitely appreciated by all of us who are a part of it and
reap the benefits of your hard work and commitment. Thank you heaps."
I attended the Umina days last year, and just would like to send you a note on what a positive initiative this is for me personally and it seems women generally on the Central Coast... I very much enjoy being part of the WOW surfing group.
I am currently living in Sydney, but the WOW group has influenced me to want to live on the Central Coast... I lived there previously for three years and now feel positive about moving back, as I have met such supportve people through this group...
I will be forwardng a cheque for membership... Vanessa

What's the go with WOWdays? On a WOWday businesses are invited to
promote their activities. These activities are provided in exchange for
continual advertising of classes & courses throughout the year.
Funds received on WOWdays go to the organisational costs involved as
well as going towards the continuing operation of WOWGIRLS Wave Of
Wisdom. Follow up courses are run by each business and all bookings and
payment go directly to them. In this mutual arrangement everyone is
supported including WOWgirls who get to experience new activities at
discounted prices.
